Pets Rule is a family owned and operated business out of Charlotte, NC. We create high-end, multipurpose pet toys and accessories and are committed to retailers offering the best value to their shoppers. Brand Mission: At Pets Rule, we envision a world where pets are in charge and humans are their servants. Our CEO, Dr. Cleo Catra P.H.D. (a cat) has a 9-life long mission to develop world class products that pets absolutely love. While all C-suite executives at Pets Rule are non-human (birds, dogs, hamsters, etc), we do allow humans to work as janitors and in the mailroom....and leverage their creativity from time to time. Pets Rule History: written by Lindsey Klein, Creative Director (a human employee) Prior to the pandemic I was working in the SaaS space with a small start up company focused in retail. Like many young families, the lockdown left us in a predicament: I went from working 75 hrs a week, schlepping all over the country to grow someone else's business, to being at home full-time with our 2 kids. As scary as things were during that time, it forced us to focus on the most important things, our family. It also gave us the time to nurture our newest addition: sweet Indy, a yorkie-poodle mix who is deaf. Our co-founder Dan Balda is also the proud father of 3 rescue cats: Bao, Halo & Kisa. We've realized many things since our fluffy friends' arrival, but one of them is this: PETS RULE THE ROOST! Thus, Pets Rule was born.Read their story
