Laurie DiBiagio is an East Coast raised, born, and bred girl from the salty coastal towns of New Jersey. Owner, designer, and creator of sirena + the sea, Laurie moved to the North Shore of Oahu in the spring of 2012 from her tiny apartment on Waverly Place in the heart of New York City's West Village.The Savannah College of Art and Design Alumni, majoring in interior design, left her job at Ralph Lauren in NYC designing the apparel showrooms, to take over Pacific Region Visual Merchandising for Tiffany and Co. After almost 4 years of working in a corporate environment as a controlled artist, she felt like a wild animal in a cage. Sirena + the sea. Laurie is currently residing back on the beaches of the East Coast growing, traveling, and building her business -- artistry and love in real time right before your very eyes.

We are Premium Swimwear Manufacturer Based in Brazil. All our pieces are handmade by local Brazilian Woman Artisans. We do work on empowering women and we do not mass produce or slave work. All fabric leftovers are turned into pet beds, donated to local shelters that take care of abandoned animals. It was a few years back that our Brazilian goddess and CEO, Marcelle Valle, took her first trip to Miami and it was love at first sight. It was from countless hours spent at the sandy beaches, bathing in the aqua-blue ocean, and reminiscing her hometown of Rio de Janeiro, that she was inspired to create the most incredible line of bikinis yet to be seen. Thus, Mar Brazil was born. It would not only be beautiful, bold, and creative, but it would also include one of her most important values: sustainability.  The creation of Mar Brazil came with great challenges, as the intention had always been to create a brand based on both sustainability and social responsibility. Not only that but with a strong and unique identity and products made with high-quality raw materials. However, combining technology, fashion, comfort, high quality, and sustainability was not a simple task. Today, Mar Brazil is an original brand, with its own manufacture. As a mission, we guarantee that all those who collaborate with the company have excellent working conditions and fair remuneration, with 100% Brazilian production, but adapted to the American market. For us, it is very important to promote and disseminate sustainability. Sequin Sand is founded and run by creative entrepreneur Jordyn Witko. With a background in photography, social media marketing and graphic design, Jordyn started Sequin Sand in July 2016.

Balance swimwear is made for all lifestyles and bodies. We pair our swimwear with guided meditations to help you develop lasting self-love habits that make your days at the beach as renewing as they should be. Our swimwear is designed and manufactured in New York City’s garment district by workers that earn a fair wage. The fabric is sourced from Italy and printed in the USA. We chose Italian lycra because it looks and feels great on your body and also holds up to wear and tear like a champ. It’s UV and Chlorine-resistant and made from recycled yarns, too. Balance was born from my love for the beach, and from my belief that swimwear should bring joy, not anxiety. After graduating from college, my work in the art world prompted a move from New York City to Kingston, Jamaica, where I fell in love with the culture, in particular the love that people had for the beach. It was in Jamaica that I made my first attempt at designing swimwear, taking my patterns to local seamstresses. After moving back to New York, I continued taking design classes at FIT (while still working a 9-5). I also became a trained meditation teacher under Dr. Joe Loizzo, specializing in Metta or Loving Kindness practice. It wasn't the traditional fashion designer's path and it wasn’t always easy but it inspired me to build what Balance is today.
