About Once upon a Dandelion

Hiya, we are Philip and Lisa, a small screen printing studio in Northern Ireland - hand printing our designs using traditional screen printing techniques. Working from our home studio we strive to ensure our prints are the best they can be, both in quality and sustainability. Our designs are heavily influenced by the classics as well as our beautiful island of Ireland and the Irish language. Based at the foot of The Mourne Mountains we have no shortage of inspiration from the sea, mountains and forests as well as Lisa's love of typography and handlettering influencing much of our designs. Minimising the carbon footprint of our business is very important to us. In addition to producing sustainable products, both our workshop and home studio is heated using wood pellets and solar panels provide much of our electric during daylight hours. Read their story
