I’ll Know It When I See It™ is a two-woman show creating sweet + slightly snarky paper goods™ + gifts from Vancouver, BC. Our products are sometimes nostalgic, often funny + occasionally Asian-inspired. We aren't sisters but have been friends for 18 years, meeting in design school. Two years of team projects was the perfect incubator for building a business + design partnership. Our work has always been from the heart, creating what feels most authentic to us in the moment. It's been joyful to reawaken to our Chinese heritage of late, allowing for more of our identity + experiences to come through our designs. Being able to snark on niche cultural references while also discussing universal topics like asking your partner what they want for dinner until death perfectly encompasses our ethos. Supporting local + Canadian businesses is one of our core values + we pride ourselves on being Made in Canada. Our goods are produced either here in Vancouver or with manufacturers across the country. We purchase all our supplies from Canadian companies. The small business community is strong + we're proud to be part of it. We hope you find us special enough to be included in your shop + look forward to working together!
Hotline Hair Ties was created in 2017 when Megan (who owned a small boutique at the time) was looking for a solution for the perfect hair tie. She had been diagnosed with a rare brain disorder that caused debilitating migraines daily, and she hadn't been able to wear her hair in a simple ponytail for over a year because of the pain it caused. She knew a better solution had to be out there, and that's when she found out about coil hair ties. At that time, there were only the small, thin, black ones that would easily get caught in your hair and stretch out instantly. She knew she could make them better. Hotline Hair Ties was born! She used her background in the boutique world to find a manufacturer to create the hair ties to her exact specifications, and she launched the brand not expecting much but just happy she had a way to wear her hair up now without being in pain. Hotline exploded almost instantly and other boutiques were asking to carry the brand! Fast Forward to a few years later, and Hotline is now carried in over 1500 stores across North and South America. Her experience owning a boutique caused her to make sure the brand was perfectly geared for retailers. With a profit margin of 4x on average, she wanted to make sure it was a brand that her retailers could make money off of. She also implemented the Replacement Program that the Hotline team personally takes care of, so that shop owners don't have to deal with any issues themselves. Hotline takes care of it all!
The BOBBYK brand evolved in Brooklyn, New York. We left the corporate design world to create a brand offering affordable fashion for all, with curated products for the home. Our products are inspired by what we love, which is pop culture, great design, and a sense of whimsy. Something we enjoy most is seeing the reaction people have when they receive our gifts, which inspires us to create fun, new products for our customers. We support other small maker communities. Our candles are made in Mexico, shipped directly to us, and designed and labeled in our Florida facility.
As an Artist I am most often inspired by Japanese Culture. For Each piece of art I make, I try to put a lot of research, love, and make it overtly cute. My biggest hopes are that my art will ignite a passion to learn about Japanese culture, and inspire others' creativity in their own art!
Fun Club started in 2015, when the owner wanted to throw a surprise party for her boyfriend and discovered there were no funny balloons on the market. She made some for fun, people loved them, and we grew from there. Fun Club is a constantly growing gift line, offering everything from party supplies to tote bags. We hope to become your one stop shop for gifts for everyone in your life (or at least the funny, cool ones).
Hey there! My name is Jess and I am the creator and owner of Jess’ Paper Co. I turn my digital illustrations into cards, stickers, and prints for your everyday boho, desert vibin’, plant lover. The inspiration for this business comes from my love for travel, adventure, plants, animals, and people. I do this because I truly love creating and I believe it is my purpose to share my designs with others to bring them joy. It has always been a dream of mine to spend my days creating, travelling, and running a business. Never would I have imagined that what started off as a hobby would turn into my career! The items you are purchasing were most likely created in the rocky mountains of Canada, by the ocean, or in the front seat of my van on a long road trip. Each order is packaged with so much love and thought, and a portion of each order is donated to a local Mental Health Facility. Thank you for not only supporting my small business, but supporting my dream.
I started Elyse Breanne Design as personal creative outlet, without a clue that it would change my life in more ways than one. EBD began on my 18th birthday as an Etsy shop offering my original paintings and grew into a stationery and lifestyle brand as I attended college, graduate school, and law school. Being someone who is always on the go, anxious to reach my next goal, I know how easy it is to let working and caring for others take priority over mental wellness and relaxation. When I found myself building a business while attending law school, I began to feel burnt out. To destress, I made an intentional decision to keep creativity a central part of my life through painting and digital art. Prioritizing creativity in my life made all the difference in staying motivated as I struggled with many demanding responsibilities. Balancing entrepreneurship while completing law school taught me the value of incorporating art into daily life. Now, after choosing my business over a career in law, I strive to help creative-minded people add art to their lives in practical and attainable ways. Not only do I aim to provide my own art on every day goods, but also develop items ready-made to accessibly express your creativity through coloring, journaling, and painting. My journey has taught me the value of creativity. With a firm belief that art belongs in every day, my greatest hope is to bring more creativity into the lives of each of our customers.
SHIPPING NOTICE: Orders between $100 - $500 typically cost between $9 - $25. Shipping estimates are estimates only and may not reflect actual cost. Feel-good stickers, pins, & paper goods celebrating the simple things in life. Inspired by nature, nostalgia, & mid-century modern design. Whether it’s a favorite past-time or an upcoming adventure, exploring joyful things & getting back to our basics can help us feel whole & connected. And if we feel whole & connected, we not only live a more beautiful life for ourselves but we help build a better life for others and the Earth we all share. I believe with an open-mind, a curious heart, and fearless effort to dip our toes (or dive, if you’re brave) into the unexplored, we can do magical things. And that’s a big reason why I design. My goal is to help customers celebrate and commemorate that journey through expressive illustrations on high-quality product. I also want to bring attention to subjects that are important along that journey, like conservation, connection, and wellness. My work is inspired by nature, wonderful nostalgic memories, & mid-century modern aesthetics. I hope that each piece adds a little simplicity to your life, sparks a fond memory, and/or encourages you to lean into those things that make you feel good. For an inspired life and a better world.

Since 2009, we’ve been inspired by vintage ephemera, retro kitsch and pop culture. In our designs, we celebrate splashy colors, a sense of humor and people that inspire us. We produce quality products at fair price points, and provide fantastic customer service. Today, more than ever, we want to pay homage to the individuals that are counter culture, that push the envelope, fight inequality, create art, and are funny and smart.
