With every handcrafted item, The Science of Bliss seeks to encourage and inspire our customers to go with confidence, discover, and indulge in the things that overflow them with bliss and happiness. The Science of Bliss has evolved over the last two decades from an experimental class project to a well-loved artisan soapery. The whole story is a long story, but every step of the way includes women creating beautiful soaps and other bath & body products with only the very best ingredients. Shannon Hames is the lead artisan today, but she learned the craft from her mother who in turn was inspired by her grandmother who had made soap for her family and back to her grandmother who had made her own soap which she also used in her laundry business. The formulas we have created and use today are, of course, much kinder to the skin. No other soap includes our special blend of 7 amazingly skin-loving oils in soul-refreshing scents. Everything we craft is very intentional to help others find blissful experiences. The Science of Bliss provides a "scentual” experience and encourages our customers to be confident about finding and indulging in the things that bring them bliss and happiness. Read their story
