About Everest Essential

Founder Brittany Fuisz grew up in Malibu and attended Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, followed by Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. She worked on the line at Michelin-starred Le Bernardin in NYC and The Food Network in new business development. During her time at Yelp as Community Director, Brittany grew Los Angeles to be the largest Yelp community in the world. Most recently, she founded Malibu Mylk, the first organic flax milk company, and cut her teeth in the cut-throat, non-dairy milk category in grocery stores nationwide. After a scary visit to the pediatrician where she learned her son had only gained 1 pound since his previous visit one year ago, she was stuck trying to figure out how to get him to eat more protein at her Doctor's request. She came up with the idea of fruit-flavored protein water as an easy way to help increase his protein intake. Whey protein isolate that dissolves in water, a fruity sweet taste, and no sugar – her kids ate it up, and a few months later, Everest Essential was born.
