GOWOOD is a family owned mom-and-pop type of business specializing in the distribution and retail of high quality wood accessories. Currently we are offering approximately 40 styles of wood sunglasses for men and women, as well as wood phone cases for iPhone 5 and up and Samsung Galaxy S5 and up. Our sunglasses provide real protection with their polarized, UV400 and impact resistant lenses. The lenses have passed the FDA ball drop test and are CE certified category 3. Some sunglasses styles are made entirely of wood, others are made of an acetate front frame, while the legs are made of real wood. Our sunglasses are completed with a stylish and solid bamboo hard box and a microfiber soft shoe-string pouch. Our phone cases are made of a unique combination of polycarbonate casing and a real wood backplate. Wood alone does not provide enough protection, so the strong polycarbonate casing does the job while the wood back plate makes the case 100% unique and beautiful. As entrepreneurs we are always on the lookout to produce our products with less plastics than generic alternatives. While in some cases you cannot go around the usage of plastics, we feel our naturally sourced products contribute to a world with less waste and (bad) plastic.
