MK the workshop is, first and foremost, a story of friendship between Vincent and Karim. Both from the industrial sector, they combined their skills and inventiveness to create their own 3D printer to ensure unparalleled manufacturing quality for their products. It was by wanting to show their wives that 3D printing could be fun that decorative objects came to life a few months ago. 💐🌾 We create and 3D print multiple decorative objects that will make your interior unique. The recycled and recyclable materials we use allow us to create exceptional textures and colors. ♻️ Each object is made from corn starch mixed with another material, such as wood or stone. 🌽🌳 Each design is imagined, drawn, and modeled to create a unique and harmonious collection. All products are manufactured in Chalon sur Saône (71) in our workshops. Eco-Responsible: at the heart of the challenges of our current society, environmental protection is a fundamental value of MK the workshop. 3D printing also allows us to be zero waste. 🌍 ⭐ Our vases are designed to highlight dried flowers or artificial flowers. The porous materials and manufacturing process do not allow for the waterproofing of the objects. However, they can be rinsed under water for cleaning.

For eight generations, the Spanish Mollà family, founder of La Navà, has had an entrepreneurial spirit and has continued to bet on artisanal production and know-how as the basis of their philosophy. In 1756, the Mollà family made jugs to carry water in a small workshop. We would have loved to be able to show you some images from those years (it would still be 85 years before the first camera was invented), but we can assure you that our essence remains the same: quality handmade ceramics. Today, La Navà continues with the brothers Luis and Pau Vicedo Mollà. Luis is an expert pottery maker and his hands shape the most creative ideas. Pau is a sales specialist, an essential link between workshop and customer. Two halves that complement each other and keep this century-old project alive more than ever. The freedom of creation, the permanent search for new proposals that connect the Mediterranean and craftsmanship allow us to create useful, durable and timeless objects that define the uniqueness of La Navà. I created Clocky in 2005 while I was a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As an over-sleeper who was routinely late for my morning classes, I knew waking up would require some ingenuity. Lying in bed one morning, I realized that the alarm clock needed a makeover. It didn't have to be a black box that stares blankly, often failing at its sole job. Combining my love for aesthetics with my passion for fixing things, Clocky was born. I presented my initial prototype, a funny-looking shag-covered Clocky made with materials from my local hardware store, to my MIT Media Lab course, Industrial Design Intelligence. Almost overnight, my prototype went viral when a blogger posted Clocky on a popular tech blog. Clocky and I became media darlings, traveling everywhere together. We graced the cover of Inc. magazine and skirted around the stages at the Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. I gave thousands of interviews for publications, TV shows, and radio stations, from the New York Times and Forbes to BuzzFeed and NPR. I was still a student when Clocky was born, so I spent the next year figuring out how to put a product on the market. I bootstrapped my new venture and launched Clocky in late 2006. This lovable clock now wakes up millions of over-sleepers around the world every day. We have a perfect five-star rating and a 100% sell-through rate.

Ian James decided to start an accessories line after making a few basic totes for family members one Christmas. The experience of evolving rudimentary shapes into a three dimensional utilitarian form was quite exciting. The Ian James brand began in early 2013 with small canvas pouches and minimal totes and evolved into a full collection of handbags, travel items, small goods, all made by hand in the living room of his Bronx apartment. After building the brand for two years in that apartment, Ian James has since created bags in a Miami studio, Sonoma, and is now settled in San Francisco, CA. At the heart of the designs are strong geometric shapes. The inspiration for every collection is the intersection of West Coast ease and East Coast structure to provide a unique yet functional collection. Having lived in both coasts, Ian continues to aim for that middle ground.
