Chelsea and Marbles, my baby/kids teething, toys, and accessories company, has taken a backseat to my other life passion, which is truly home and design, as well as a backseat to life's events, which in my case, has included adding another little human to our family and a big relocation from Upstate NY to Annapolis, MD. Wrapped In Comfort was created in 2020 at the height of the COVID pandemic. While gaining some extra time at home, the owner, Jessica decided to return to sewing as she used to years ago. This time to create something she very much needed. Something to help to comfort and relieve her pains from a surgery in 2005. She started with many different styles to help with many different needs, ranging from neck pain, back pain, leg pain or even headaches. She decided to use fabrics that were uplifting and trendy, and steered away from the cold sterile nature of typical medical supplies. She has a particular love of watercolour florals. As you can see, many of her items are created with this style.

Learning about synthetic dyes and their impact on our health was the scariest thing and I decided to study natural dyes. Quickly I realized that we could do things differently, slowly, as it was done for thousands of years before us. There is something about working with natural colors that just pulls me. Every bath is different, every color is alive and changes over time. It empowers me. It's a true commitment, it doesn't always work my way, but I wouldn't change it for a minute. Creating beautiful colors without harming the environment or those who wear them is our mission. All of our products are naturally dyed with plants in our studio in Montreal, Canada. Story: Two Birds is woman-owned and operated by Autumn Swindahl - a young entrepreneur and craft connoisseur. Autumn started her business in 2015, selling her handmade friendship bracelets. Over the years, she found a love for aromatherapy and creating self-care products. With a background in Fashion Design and styling, she enjoys designing and producing an array of ready-to-wear pieces for everyday looks. Mission: We create products with consciously sourced materials; recycled cotton macrame cord, beads from local suppliers, and fabrics designed by independent artists. Each product is handmade with the customer in mind and the bigger picture: a portion of profits are always donated to non-profit organizations that aid in women's rights, health research, and environmental causes.

Welcome! Belle's Nest began in a brick and mortar in Sierra Madre, Ca in 2008. The intention was to bring together local artisans and handcrafted items. After 10 wonderful years I closed and left my location in order to focus more on my own designs and creative work. Prior to Belle's Nest I had another shop, DUSK in Pasadena, Ca that I opened in my early 20's which lasted 10 years as well. That being said, 20 years has brought me endless knowledge and experience. In addition I am a self taught jewelry maker working primarily in Sterling Silver. Any jewelry that you see available is made personally by me. My home studio is located at the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in Southern California and I am a Los Angeles native. I love small batch goods that are unique, colorful and tell a story.
