RT1home was founded in September 2017 by Rhiannon Taylor. Her passion for indoor gardening began in her small studio apartment in Portland, Oregon. While living without an outdoor space, and having a rich background in product creation (Ralph Lauren, Theory, & Nike) she saw a need to deliver premium tools + develop functional accessories for the urban dweller. Nozomi Morita joined RT1home in March 2019, she moved from Osaka, Japan to sunny Los Angeles, CA. Since the pandemic, she is back in Japan and helping from afar! Koa joined RT1home in April 2019, he was rescued from the dog meat market in Korea by the Dove Project.
