Founded by Johan and Blair Scheepers, Basketly started its journey in 2019 in South Africa and has since expanded to New Zealand in 2021 and the USA in 2024. Our story is driven by a passion for beautifully crafted homeware and a commitment to ethical sourcing, bridging the gap between skilled artisans and homes across the globe. At Basketly, we believe in fostering meaningful relationships with our craftsmen. We work closely with talented artisans, many of whom have over five years of experience in the rattan wicker industry. While our partners may not always have formal Fair Trade certifications, we take active steps to visit and evaluate each workshop. By doing so, we ensure that our values align, and we prioritize fair wages, safe working conditions, and opportunities for skill development. Our collection features a carefully curated selection of baskets and rugs, available in a variety of sizes, designs, and shapes. Beyond the baskets maker & owner, Amy makes 100% linens for your kitchen and dining needs. She loves the process of creating useful things with her hands and values linen for its classic, durable, and timeless nature. We strive to create things that help environmentally conscious people live beautifully. Amy draws her design inspiration from her experience living on the West Coast of British Columbia. The simple, laid-back culture of the West Coast lifestyle and organic beauty of the landscape are what inspires her to use her passion to create things with her hands.

Founded in 1995, the family owned-business, Everyday Design, designs and manufactures minimalistic furniture and design products that make everyday life easier. Team behind Everyday Design includes Helena Mattila, the mother, founder, CEO and the head designer and Saara Sorri - the daughter and operational manager. Everyday Design wants to solve everyday life problems and encourage people towards a more ecological lifestyle with their recycling products. Internationally design-award winning products are multifunctional and can be used at homes or in offices. Over 90 per cent of the products are made in Finland and they have been awarded the Key Flag and the Design from Finland symbols. My husband went to Ghana in 2013 on a volunteer mission through his work. He was to be there for six months and since it had never been on my radar for travel I thought "I should go!" Little did I know the spontaneous adventure would result in a thriving business. Big Blue Moma now employs over 360 weavers in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana. We work closely with the team to establish the best outcomes for both our clients in the developed world, and our weavers. We call what we do "Conscious business" because in every decision we make, our team is considered fully. We are not a charity, we are a for profit business and the Ghanian team are our partners in this venture. We learned in our short time in Ghana that charity is not our preferred method of helping. Business is more sustainable, and it is more valuable than any one time gift or donation. So me personally, Karie Wylie (also known as "Big Blue Moma") well I come from a small town in Northern Alberta and went to Art School in my twenties. I graduated with a degree in weaving so what I do right now is what I feel I was always meant to do. I have always been self employed, I have always loved weaving, Big Blue Moma has been such a gift to us.

Based in South Carolina, Amsha works directly with artisans across Africa. We focus on driving social change in underserved communities by bringing quality, ethically made goods to the marketplace. Twig and Tassel was founded in 2016, when CEO and Founder, Julien Kearns was on a mission to find stylish baskets for her daughters nursery. She wanted to find something that would lsat way beyond her daughters toddler years. Using her background in fashion, she created her own basket with some simple cotton rope, a sewing machine and non-toxic dye. Fast-forward five years, and Julien is now the mother to four daughters. Her mission is to create beautiful, eco-friendly storage baskets, decor and accessories for you and your little ones. OOWLSTUDIO is a home décor lifestyle brand based in Ontario Canada. We pride ourselves in working with artisans from South East Asia to bring our designs and vision to life. Our products are handmade in small batch by the loving hands of the artisans who have mastered the art of weaving and using techniques passed down for generations. All steps are carried out by hand with attention to detail and quality in mind. We cut out middle man and work directly with artisans in fair trade environment where artisans get paid fairly for their work. We use natural based-materials such as rattan, seagrass, bamboo, cotton... which are locally grown and harvested.
