Chanel, the founder of iDoggos It was in December 2017 that the beautiful and sparkling Chanel founded iDoggos. This young entrepreneur has developed the potential of a simple grooming bandana. Bandanas are small scarves given by groomers after grooming your loves, but after a few days they are not very watchable. I found my dogs so beautiful with their bandanas. From there came the idea to improve them and make them a fashion accessory. At the time, I lived with my mother in Rosemère, Québec. I wanted to do something fancy for my two dogs (Yoshi, a three year old Shiba Inu, and Valentin, a three and a half year old Husky). After the first two bandanas were created, I had a high demand for friends and friends of friends ... so, I thought to myself, why not start a small business of high end dog scarves. I did some research to find that there weren't really any on the market in 2017. So I started to learn about the quality of the fabrics and their characteristics. After much research, I finally found my first seamstress: Johanne, from Saint-Colomban. Once my ideas were on paper, I put together several styles and colors to make my first satin lined bandanas. Despite the quality and beauty of the fabrics, a little something was missing, a little spiciness. So I worked on creating a logo. I wanted it simple but chic, and I finally came with the final iDoggos logo.

Originally founded in 2017, Ember & Ivory began as a handmade home decor boutique focused on macrame and fiber art. That has slowly morphed into a passion for handmade, boho-inspired dog items after I got my Toy Australian Shepherd, Indigo. That pretty macrame tug toy in our shop is where it all started! It is by far Indigo's favorite thing (besides cuddles & treats) and I wanted a toy that I didn't mind seeing laying all around the house. The only thing better than getting to see my pup enjoy something I've crafted is seeing others, and their pups, enjoy them just as much! Lucky for him, he has a human named Corey – the founder of Mighty Paw. The origin of the Mighty Paw brand came by way of heeding Barley’s yearning, and with the aid of a pair of opposable thumbs and some ingenuity, Barley and Corey began designing pup-worthy products with a vision in mind, “to ease the ability to accompany my human anywhere, all the time.” Who are we now? Mai Tran, founder of Cavology, is a lawyer by trade and dog lover (cav obsessed!) from Montreal. She started Cavology from the following of her two dogs, Herky and Milton (@herkythecavalier) on Instagram and YouTube. It is on that platform where she saw an opportunity to design and create dog accessories that she would *actually* wear on Herky & Milton. She started hand making rope leashes in her tiny kitchen condo for dogs all over the world. What started as a passion project became her full time job in 2018!
