Moss Creek Wool Works

We're on a mission to encourage eco-friendly drying and eliminate toxic dryer sheets. Our 100% wool dryer balls are hand-made in Canada using sustainably certified wool from Uruguay and the UK. **We SHIP from Canada and USA for fast, low-cost & duty-free delivery (despite what Faire may state). Moss Creek Wool Works was born from our desire to live a sustainable life and a passion for natural alternatives. Our roots trace back to Farmer and Craft markets. We began as two friends crafting wool balls at home. We soon connected with local stores who helped us reach new markets. Today we have a workshop with a team of felters who share our passion for wool. We still make each dryer ball by hand one at a time, and we don't just make them for drying. Our customers shared how their dryer balls were ending up in their pet's bed, so we created a collection of wool balls for dogs and cats. Thank Ewe for sharing our Mission to promote sustainable drying and supporting wool producers who raise sheep for their wool, rather than meat. P.S. We are always on the lookout for farms raising heritage sheep. If you are a wool producer with long fiber fleece or roving, we welcome the opportunity to use your wool.

Kind Laundry

Hey, we’re Angie and Bernard, founders of Kind Laundry. We’ve been partners in life and business for the past 10 years. Lucky for us, we both share the same values and goals in life, and Kind Laundry represents who we are as people. We’re both health-conscious, love animals, and are committed to living as sustainably as possible. Like any healthy relationship, couples fight about the silliest things at home. One of our frequent arguments is who forgot to clean up after doing laundry. Messy measuring cups and gooey detergent liquid stains all over the cupboards. But the one thing we can both agree on is how guilty we feel each time we throw away those empty plastic jugs. We’ve tried “eco-friendly” alternatives on the market but we’re surprised to find many of them still come in a plastic bottle. Even those with eco-friendly packaging, we often question what ingredients are used to produce their detergents. Yep, we are those people you see inspecting every label in the aisles. This is why we’re so excited to introduce our line of laundry products that are simple, made from mainly plant-derived ingredients, easy to use, no mess, and lightweight but still pack the same cleaning power as traditional liquid or powder detergents. Kind Laundry means more than just a company to us. It represents who we are as people. We believe by eliminating one plastic detergent jug at a time, we can help sustain this incredible planet. Let's be kind together. - A&B

Eralume

Back in 2016 when I was expecting my first child, I became much more conscious of what I was putting on my body, and thereafter my baby’s body. Years later I discovered that many of the products I had been using, that claimed to be natural & safe, contained ingredients that were toxic to the environment, potentially irritating to the skin and many of which were still packaged in single use plastics. Not long after the birth of my son, I was diagnosed with Post Partum Depression, and struggled with a loss of identity and purpose. After finding it difficult to locate products that were both non-toxic and environmentally friendly in their ingredients and packaging, I began developing my own. Allowing myself to learn something new, work with my hands and showcase my creativity and skill, I was able to find my sense of self and purpose again. This is how Eralume was born - as an opportunity to bring other people and families products that combined both plant-based goodness in eco-friendly, refillable packaging without worrying about the impacts on their health or the environment.

Bubby's Bubbles

Bubby's Bubbles is a family run company that emphasizes the importance of being kind to our planet and our skin. Our hypo-allergenic laundry detergent has been used by our family for as long as we can remember, and we're so happy to now share that with the world! Bubby’s Bubbles was born from a formula that our family has been using for laundry detergent since the early 1900s. World War 2 forced the rationing of oils, butters, and fats and, as a result, soap became scarce making it a challenge for bathing and laundry. Our original Bubby created a laundry bar soap using vegetable oils from the kitchen and natural ingredients to clean clothes, so she can keep her kid’s clothes clean even during hard times. It was so effective, affordable, and helped a couple of kid’s (my Bubby, in particular) rashes, that when things went back to normal, their family kept using the same formula. Our whole family still uses it to this day, with just a couple of tweaks as ingredients changed with the times. With the pandemic, we had a little bit of extra time, and decided that if it helped us, it would help a lot of people. So, we decided to share the formula that we’ve been using forever with others! Our family teamed up during the pandemic to tackle this project together, and it has brought us so much closer together. It’s odd that the recipe was born out of war, and our brand was born out of a pandemic, but desperate times calls for all-natural laundry products, I guess!
