Ark Colour Design

At Ark Colour Design, we make leather and paper products inspired by colour and a sense of fun. We aim to offer traditional British craft at a sensible price that is functional and designed to last. All our products are made by hand in the UK. Sustainability is incredibly important to us. Making exactly what we need in Britain reduces waste, gets our products to you quickly and helps our planet. We source our components from as close to home as we can, with the majority made in the UK or Europe. Our leather is sourced from the UK and Ireland and is only ever a by-product from the meat and dairy industry - it's a material which would otherwise go to landfill and is biodegradable. We have been a plastic-free company since 2019. We are a family-focused company and work a four-day week, giving our amazing staff more time to see family and friends with no reduction on pay. So on a Monday you'll likely find us walking the dog (or the toddler), or watering the plants.

Steadydecor

Hi, I'm Su Min, the maker behind Steadydecor. I used to be an interior designer, but now fell in love with macrame and creating art! This unique and popular flower pattern is my original design, it goes viral since my first launch. I love adding flowers to my design, so I dreamt up a new technique and was creating with an idea of daisy - my signature macrame flowers were born! I'm proud to have taken the fibre world by storm with this simple and captivating daisy chains used to create various products. My works are featured in a viral commercial such as TV commercial, blogs, and Instagram. I’ve always had a natural drive and passion to work with my hands and create something out of nothing. I finally discovered my voice and created something that had never been done before, and it was a defining moment in my exploration of this art. I always made little gifts for my friends and family since young, because handmade gifts are more meaningful, it shows love. I love to create things that truly bring joy and tell a story, and I hope that the love and care I put into my designs can be felt when holding it, that's how my business started. I hope my flowers will put a big smile on your face and spread the happiness to every corner of the world. Joy is contagious and that’s what fuel a blissful life. This is what I strive to achieve.

oishy

This is us We traveled from Berlin to Tokyo in 2019 and fell in love with this crazy city with almost 26 million inhabitants. We brought all sorts of gadgets to Berlin, including fake food products. No country in the world knows how to deal with the subject as well as the artists in Japan. We got hold of the best manufacturers through a Japanese friend in Berlin and since the end of 2021 we have had our oishy keychains cast and painted by hand in Osaka & Tokyo. By the way, OISHY means delicious in Japanese. With our unique keychains, we wanted to attach good taste to your bunch of keys.

Kamibashi

Kamibashi owners Kristen and Chris Daniels started Kamibashi (Japanese for "paper bridge") while teaching English to university students in Kyoto, Japan. A few months before moving to their new hometown of Asheville, NC in 2005, they read a story in an English language magazine about string dolls while they were having breakfast at a café in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Curious to see these small string creatures in person, they headed to the night market that evening, and the rest is history! Fifteen years later, Kamibashi is still going strong. What started as a group of 15 string doll characters has grown to over 250, most of which are designed together with the leaders of the two string doll groups we have been working with since the very beginning. Kristen, Chris, and the Kamibashi team never fail to be amazed by the creativity of their string doll artisans and their ability to make pretty much anything and anyone out of string. Kamibashi is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation and the Museum Store Association.
