Up until 2021, Becca Lane's artwork tended toward heavier themes regarding mental illness and health. One Lane Studios came about when she needed a dedicated space for some light-hearted work, happiness and healing. With imagined stories and personalities, this animal portrait series is made with inspiration from her own pets and numerous foster furbabies. She brings the characters to life via acrylic paint and a combination of referenced images and her mind’s eye. These are later made into prints, vinyl stickers, greeting cards and more, as a way to spread that joy to others in a world that can always use more happiness!
