*REOPENING OCTOBER 7, 2024!* In 2013, I began this journey that has turned out to be one of the biggest blessings and continued doing it part time through high school and college. Inspired by my love for the coast of North Carolina to the mountains of North Carolina, Chesterton Jewelry is handmade using natural oyster shells from our coast and naturally shed antlers from our mountains and Washington. state. All jewelry is handmade by owner and designer Taylor Keen in our Greenville, North Carolina studio. We also incorporate cross pendants, horns, recycled sea glass beads, bone beads, coconut wood, and a variety of other items into each necklace and bracelet. Upon graduating college and getting married in 2021, I took a break from making jewelry and became a managing partner of a women's clothing boutique. However, I kept all my jewelry supplies in hopes of picking it back up one day...and 2024 is the year! I am expecting my first child early 2025 and am SO excited to be able to stay home with him & begin Chesterton Jewelry FULL TIME (for the first time ever!)
