Madeleine is an illustrator and designer from the west coast of Canada. She published her tarot deck inspired by the stories of rescue cats in 2017 through a crowd funded campaign. Since then she has fostered over 50 cats and kittens and told their stories through her artwork.

What started as a greeting card business in the basement of Marty Kalan's Philadelphia home over 50 years ago, Kalan has grown to be one of the leading suppliers of novelty items in the United States. Kalan is a third generation, family owned business; our current CEO (Marty's grandson) has worked strategically in growing the business in mass market accounts and into new customer segments like specialty toy stores, gift and general stores, gaming and comic stores, as well as souvenir destinations across the US. Our Start: Our founder, Andrea, was driving one-day thinking about her friend going through a tough time. She didn't know what to do or say, she just wanted to be there for her. She thought if her friend could wear a temporary tattoo with words of encouragement, her friend would know she was there for her and could get through anything. Two months later, Inkcourage was launched with 30 encouraging temporary tattoos. Inkcourage continues to spread encouragement every day by posting positive words on social media, as well as creating empowering products. With a little bit of courage, we can believe in ourselves and follow our dreams. Encouragement can make us invincible. Let's aim to spread kindness and positivity every day. Founded in 2015 by Brett Hill and Yasmine Janjua, Black River Letterpress & Paper Co. has come a long way from its beginnings in basement workshop at Brett’s parents home. When we first started out, the goal was to just be able to print our wedding invitations on a letterpress printing press we had found in a salvage yard. From there, Brett started to design and print Christmas gift cards using some vintage image cuts he had found in local antique shops. The next year, we added some greeting cards and started to sell our products at local craft shows and online. Our humor is somewhat snide, snarky and absurd, we like taking something old and making it new again. All of our letterpress products are printed using wood or lead type and vintage image cuts.
