The originator of the boyfriend jean, the brand was brought to life by Emily Current and Merritt Elliott whose vision came from their experience. In over a decade of styling for publications as well as celebrities. They recognized a need for a new style of denim and believed in dressing without rules, mixing high and low pieces to create a fun and fearless aesthetic that was uniquely theirs. Treasured as an American wardrobe classic, denim’s storied history is the inspiration behind each collection, fit and wash. Constantly referencing the past yet always looking to the future, today’s Current/Elliott features some of the brand’s beloved fits in updated washes and current finishings. Our Los Angeles-based design team is focused on four pillars: Craftsmanship, Authenticity, Integrity, and Individual Expression.
