These two loves came together when I began combining them in the process of developing new creations, producing items such as my popular cashmere flower pins and silk dyed Easter egg kits. I love to learn, source sustainable materials, and take techniques to the next level. I value creativity, particularly as it pertains to being a good steward of the earth and our limited resources. I recycle high-quality, locally-sourced materials to create my products, and each piece is made with love!

Kardiklips began with a desire to help women feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident in their clothes! I LOVE fashion, but so many of my favorite cardigans, dresses, shirts and tunics just looked too big, too boxy, and unflattering :( I didn't want to have to buy an entirely new wardrobe - I just needed something that would make the one I have look better on me! I wanted something simple that would a) cinch in the waist, b) was easy to use, c) easy to move and remove, and d) CUTE and ATTRACTIVE at the same time! I searched high and low and found…nothing. Nothing, that is, that matched all my criteria. So…I made one. Su Owen is an illustrator and surface pattern designer. She loves to create whimsical designs that also carry an environmental message. Narrative and story telling are also themes that she loves! Su is passionate about nature and the environment and seeks to make products that are properly sustainable, whilst being fun and wearable.
