Hello! I'm a solo business owner, wife and mom of three kids. My name is Swan and I started Blue Space Pottery LLC March 2018. I'm delighted that after graduating with my BFA in Ceramic Arts in 2005 form the University of Georgia, my dream business is now underway. I hand build small batch coastal inspired ceramics in my basement garage studio located in Covington, Georgia. I begin each piece with a rolled out slab of stoneware clay. When making ring dishes, I use real seashells, abalone shells or sea biscuits to make the impressions then sculpt each one to the finished product. When making tumblers I hand build them, then hand draw each starfish so that no two are exactly alike. Each piece receives my full attention. I take pride in providing top quality products that are built to last a lifetime and that will delight customers. They are durable, food safe and dishwasher safe. These modern yet earthy ceramics make perfect gifts for those who are sentimental towards to the beach and they make great gifts for those who seem to have it all and are hard to shop for.
