Carlos and Paul met through a friend in the late 90s and having travelled a lot I had ideas to buy and sell beautiful things – what? I wasn’t sure! Following a trip to Rajasthan in 1999 we took a market stall on Cambridge market and sold original pashminas, antique silk saris, cushions and rugs. While Carlos sold at the market, I visited shops and sold direct to retailers, learning about the world of retail and in 2001 we took our first gift and accessory trade show stand, and when Selfridges placed an order, we knew we were doing something right. Remaining to work from our Cambridge studio, we have a small but perfect team and now offer over two collections per year, supplying our in-house uniquely designed products to the best shops in the UK and beyond. We are aware that freshness plays a major part in any business, so we’re constantly developing new ideas, products and working with different techniques, which makes it very exciting for all of us! We work hard to source and produce products that are sustainable or have minimal impact on the environment. Many of our bags are made from recycled materials or organic cotton. All our products are made in factories that are BSCI or WRAP certified to ensure fair and safe working practices to all involved in their production. All of our bags are hand pressed in our Derbyshire studio.

Soake is a family run business with Anthony and Sara Temporal at the helm. Soake Limited started life as Blooming Brollies in 2010. After a few successful years we introduced many new lines and we decided we needed to rebrand. After many brainstorming sessions we came up with SOAKE. Then in 2019 after working with the former owner and Managing Director my wife and I were able to buy the company. We originally named the company "Hemlock Goods" because the hemlock plant is pretty but poisonous, tender yet tenacious. We see the spirit of the hemlock plant in the women we admire, and it's what inspires the bandanas we create. Recently we changed the name to Handker to embody our primary product: handkerchiefs (aka bandanas) and also the delightful craving feeling that comes with the homonym "hanker". Handker bandanas were made to be beautiful, yes, but they're also tough. They can hold your hair back, carry an outfit, pick up spills, and store your beloved treasures and favorite snacks. Bronte Moon is an importer and distributor of British Wool products manufactured in a 182 year old mill in the Yorkshire Dales in England. On a visit to the UK in 2014 we visited a local store and found some beautiful throws that we wanted for our house in America. We decided that we couldn't bring them back in our suitcases as we were already overweight so we phoned the mill and asked where we could buy them in the US. We were told that unfortunately the mill had very few customers in America so we decided that we should import and sell them ourselves. Since then our business has grown rapidly and we now supply many stores across North America and Canada, our direct on line retail business has grown substantially and continues to grow year on year. The quality of the products is second to none and we know from the feedback that we have received that our customers love the Design, Quality and Heritage of the products as much as we do.

Our mission is simple: create a collection of USA-made bandanas in cool patterns, soft yet strong enough for city strolls, kitchen hustles, camping trips and more. After satisfying many happy customers with our Etsy shop Maryink, we created Abracadana in 2019 as our new brand focusing on bandanas. Our classic bandanas are hand screen printed by us onto 100% cotton, tightly woven quilting fabric. Like an old fashioned bandana, these are discharge printed, meaning the ink “discharges” the fabric’s dye, leaving a super soft print that's visible on the back.

Chinar, Inc. is a wholesale company located in Boulder, Colorado. We are a family owned business founded and owned by husband and wife team Tawfeeq Nazir and Lisa Palino-Nazir. Chinar was started in 2004 as an avenue to support textile and papier-mâché artisans in Tawfeeq’s native Kashmir, India.
