I grew up in a small town near Philadelphia, and I has been creating art since I was a child. My early travels during middle and high school as an exchange student to Australia, Italy, and England fueled my creative spirit. I fell in love with metalsmithing while attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where I earned my BFA in Metals & Jewelry. The beauty of the South inspired many of my first designs, and throughout my countless travels I draw inspiration for JCJ jewelry. I believe art is meant to initiate thought and emotion. Jewelry is an object of beautiful adornment but also an object of deeper meaning; jewelry can be powerful. Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry is meant to make the wearer connect to the artwork.
