Sea Bags are totes and accessories handcrafted from recycled sails in Portland, Maine. We were founded in 1999 on three cornerstones that still guide us in business today: being made in Maine, giving back to our local community, and staying green in product and practice. Since our founding, we have maintained a commitment to keeping sustainability a cornerstone of our brand. Each bag or accessory that we produce is made from 100% recycled sail material. By upcycling these sails, we have prevented over 1.5 Million pounds of sail cloth from entering landfills. Each upcycled bag is handcrafted on the working waterfront in Portland, Maine. Designing, sewing, and sourcing our products locally creates a ripple effect of opportunities within our community.
