About Kollab

Built on the belief that everyday essentials don’t have to be basic, at Kollab we’re continually re-inventing everyday essentials with our colourful designs and signature prints. Established in 2014 we set off on our journey to make the practical fashionable and introduced seven reusable bags that were not only useful but looked good! Obviously we loved our bags, but we didn’t realise how much other people would love our colourful prints and designs too so we decided we needed to open up our wholesale divisions in 2015. The three years that followed were jam packed full of introducing beautiful new prints and designs to the Classic Collection whilst working with some amazing partners including Billabong & Sharpie. The iconic Kollab Picnic Mat was introduced in 2019. This was a labour of love that came after many years developing the perfect Picnic Mat. It had to be extra-large for all the family as well as water-resistant to wipe down spills effortlessly and above all easy to roll, fold and secure. In 2021 we introduced a new premium collection made from recycled materials, a luxe take on our well-loved, practical and functional styles allowing for maximum aesthetic impact with minimal impact on the environment. Since then we have introduced many more products into our every expanding range, including an Insulated Wine Cooler Bag and Travel Bag to fit all your necessities for when you’re on the go, at home or away!

Goldilocks Goods

Founder Amy Hall is an art historian and ocean lover who was able to combine both her passions in Goldilocks Goods. After volunteering with a shark conservation program in the South Pacific she was devastated by the ocean plastics problem globally. This compelled Amy to start her journey towards zero waste which, in turn, inspired her to start her ever growing business. Each reusable beeswax wrap is made individually by hand in small batches. From the washing and cutting the cotton, to waxing piece by piece, to folding and packaging, we do it all ourselves. Each wrap is held to the highest of quality standards and infused with an extra dose of love. The average person uses over 2000 square feet of plastic every year, and while our main goal is to help reduce this to zero, one of the added bonuses of our wraps is that they will actually keep your food fresh for longer! (Yes, you heard that right!). They’re better for the environment, and better for your wallet by saving food: It’s a win-win.

Your Green Kitchen

Your Green Kitchen is a WOMAN OWNED, small business located in the Kootenay Mountains of Canada. Thanks so much for stopping by the shop! I am Rouvè, the maker, creator and dreamer behind all the eco-friendly, toxic free products from YOUR GREEN KITCHEN. I started my career as a registered nutritionist loving food and cooking, but the plastic waste created in the kitchen really bothered me. To bring together my love for the environment, cooking and the kitchen I began looking for things I could use in the kitchen to be more earth-friendly. I made my first fabric bowl cover in 2016 and it has been such an amazing ride. Your Green Kitchen has now grown to 5 employees (a huge blessing for our area) and is located in the beautiful town of Nakusp, BC. My mission is to provide amazing, long lasting great quality products to help you easily transition into using less plastic and more earth-friendly products in your kitchen and home. From start to finish, Your Green Products are handled with care and handmade for your home. Thank you for supporting Your Green Kitchen!

The Market Bags

The Market Bags was established with a single vision in mind; eliminating single-use plastic bags. What started out as a trip to a local farmers market was the beginning of that journey. It was the during this weekly trip in the summer of 2018, when reusable bags were first starting to make an appearance, that we realized that so many of them were still being manufactured overseas and of unsustainable fabrics, such as polyester mesh. Although reusable, these fabrics are still technically plastic and will end up in a landfill one day. We wanted to do better! Our Canadian-made reusable bags represent a small step towards a better tomorrow with a positive impact on our environment. Using upcycled or sustainable and organic materials, we've created a line of truly eco-friendly reusable bags. We want to ensure future generations have a healthy and beautiful planet to experience, and because of this we've made it our mission to replace those pesky tear-off-the-roll plastic bags in grocery stores with reusable bags. We strive to inspire change in the daily life of those around the world. In addition to making the world a better place one bag at a time, we're a member of 1% for the Planet. We donate 1% of all sales to environmental causes, an investment in ethical business and the future of our planet. We strive to make #bagsforabettertomorrow

Made By Bees Limited

Priscilla is a beekeeper with a passion for honeybee advocacy. She started her beekeeping journey as a hobby with her children. When they spread their wings and left home, she morphed into a “Queen Bee,” and Made By Bees took flight! Ultimately Priscilla's curiosity expanded beyond understanding how bee colonies flourished and included learning the critical role they play in global food security. If bees disappeared, the human diet would be much less diverse, and of course, we would miss honey! Made by Bees offers a variety of Canadian-made, all-natural bee-related products inspired by nature and handcrafted with care. From beautiful beeswax wraps to delicious raw honey. Located on a pesticide-free property, it generates sustainable solutions to everyday living and cultivates a bee-friendly haven. Taking steps together to save our bees, the planet, and your food!

Zefiro

It’s not about being perfect. Nobody is. It’s about being conscious that our actions matter. What we buy matters. What we waste matters. What we send to the landfill matters. What ends up in our oceans and ends up in our fish, matters. Every small step we take, makes a difference. We’ve all become aware that we need to recycle but we need to start shifting our perspective to reducing and reusing before we think about recycling! That's why Zefiro's mission is to help us reduce and reuse by offering products that are free of unnecessary packaging, minimize single use waste and are safe for both us and the planet. ♻️ What motivated you to start Zefiro? A number of years back, my friend made me conscious of ALL the unnecessary plastics in our life. Then, my sister in law educated me on ALL the harmful chemicals in our everyday products. Little by little I noticed it became harder and harder to shop. Almost everything has unnecessary plastic packaging and ingredients that I didn’t want for our family. I had visited a zero waste store in Vancouver and the idea to offer products that are safe for both us and the planet seemed so logical. The products we offer are selected based on a few important criteria: That they’re an alternative to a single use product. That they are better for both the consumer and the planet That they aren’t difficult changes that you will need to incorporate into your life. They’re simple swaps. That they’re an affordable alternative
