Bee Kind's founder, Evan, was working as a scuba diving instructor in Australia when she came face to face with the devastating amount of plastic pollution in the ocean. Vowing to be a part of the solution, she decided she would create undeniably vibrant, beautiful products that sparked a much-needed conversation about sustainability. Evan's Mom (Mama Bee Kind), hand paints each one of our 9 signature beeswax wrap designs. We hope that the vibrant colors will spark a meaningful conversation at your lunch table, your next potluck, or at least bring a little more joy to the inside of your fridge! Yumbox has a simple mission. Make healthy eating on the go fun and easy. Inspiration came from the French school lunches served to one of our founders kids daily. The emphasis in France is on balance, variety, taste and nutrition. Yumbox was dreamed up to allow us all to replicate that same balance and nutrition for our kids, regardless of where we live. Now everyone (even kids) can pack a nutritionally balanced meal using Yumbox! Still, building a meals-on-the-go box that would accommodate a variety of foods would need some fresh ideas. We wanted a box housing a bento-like tray, with one lid that sealed all compartments; designated food groups to encourage and assist parents in packing a balanced meal; built-in portion control; a cool design and illustrations to make this little box more of an adventure in good nutrition than just plain old lunch! These thoughts were the seeds to creating Yumbox. Together we set out to take our vision of an ideal meals on-the-go box and make it a reality!

Founder Amy Hall is an art historian and ocean lover who was able to combine both her passions in Goldilocks Goods. After volunteering with a shark conservation program in the South Pacific she was devastated by the ocean plastics problem globally. This compelled Amy to start her journey towards zero waste which, in turn, inspired her to start her ever growing business. Each reusable beeswax wrap is made individually by hand in small batches. From the washing and cutting the cotton, to waxing piece by piece, to folding and packaging, we do it all ourselves. Each wrap is held to the highest of quality standards and infused with an extra dose of love. The average person uses over 2000 square feet of plastic every year, and while our main goal is to help reduce this to zero, one of the added bonuses of our wraps is that they will actually keep your food fresh for longer! The Market Bags was established with a single vision in mind; eliminating single-use plastic bags. What started out as a trip to a local farmers market was the beginning of that journey. It was the during this weekly trip in the summer of 2018, when reusable bags were first starting to make an appearance, that we realized that so many of them were still being manufactured overseas and of unsustainable fabrics, such as polyester mesh. Although reusable, these fabrics are still technically plastic and will end up in a landfill one day. We wanted to do better! Our Canadian-made reusable bags represent a small step towards a better tomorrow with a positive impact on our environment. Using upcycled or sustainable and organic materials, we've created a line of truly eco-friendly reusable bags. We want to ensure future generations have a healthy and beautiful planet to experience, and because of this we've made it our mission to replace those pesky tear-off-the-roll plastic bags in grocery stores with reusable bags. Priscilla is a beekeeper with a passion for honeybee advocacy. She started her beekeeping journey as a hobby with her children.
