I grew up learning the candle making process and making a lot of messes along the way! I had no idea at the time that those messes and early experiments would give me the passion and drive to grow this small, but mighty, candle company into the biggest blessing of our lives! Casey Candle Co was founded in early 2021 in Casey, IL. Fun fact, Casey is home to the world's largest rocking chair, mailbox, ruler, pencil, wind chime, and more! My name is Riley Donhou, and I am the sole owner of this business. I have two children, and my oldest is 6 and my youngest will be 1. I also have 4 beautiful bonus children. I take a lot of pride in what I do as everything is made by hand by myself. At times order turnaround time can be slightly delayed due to this. I love making things myself because it gives me the satisfaction of creating the best quality products. Another goal of mine with this business is creating products with non-toxic ingredients. All of our oils are clean oils. Ingredients are CA prop 65 compliant. As of June 2025 I am in the midst of rebranding to a new design I created myself and fell in love with. Some product photos may not be completely updated. However, all items ordered with have the new craft brown label with my new design. I hope you love this as much as I do. Welcome to Tickle Creek Soap! We make goat milk bath and body care products, as well as candles and wax melts. Our solid lotion bars, goat milk soap, whipped sugar scrubs, body butter, and lotions are all made in Boring, Oregon. We left the city years ago and made the dream come true of owning a small farm. One of our first animals we got were Nigerian Dwarf Goats and we fell in love instantly. Our goats are part of our family. At any given time, we have 15-20 goats and spring is the best when we have babies everywhere. We found ourselves with an abundance of goat milk and that's how Tickle Creek Soap was born. Goat milk is rich in triglycerides and essential fatty acids, which have a PH similar to humans, so its less irritating and more easily absorbed by our skin. Goat milk also contains precious skin minerals, like selenium, and is loaded with vitamins, particularly vitamin A, the most important vitamin for the skin. As with other milk, goat milk contains lactic acid, that assists to gently slough off dead skin cells and help hydrate and brighten the skin. Goat milk is high in essential B vitamins, along with vitamin D, A, and E. It has natural anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties, and is full of phosphorous, vitamin B-12, protein, and potassium. (formerly Rachel's Rustic Decor) I'm the one that cuts, sands, paints, pours & packages all of your signs & candles. I DO NOT USE any vinyl lettering on my wood signs. I started making signs about 2 years ago mostly for myself, family & friends and then I realized more and more people wanted to actually buy them & the rest is history! Along with wooden signs I recently took over my parent's candle business, Superior Candles. I've combined the two into one to create North Woods & Wicks Co. Point Blank: Candles gave me headaches No matter which store I went to, they would all give me headaches. I was devastated. The flickering light and scent that envelopes you when you light it. It was my favorite thing to relax in the evenings. That's when I started making my own. I fell in love! My family and friends kept buying them up and telling me that I should sell them. But in doing so, I ran into another problem. What did I want my candles to look like? Most of them out there are simple and lack creativity. I wanted something truly unique. Something I would not only love to smell, but also love to look at and cherish. Something that was me. That, as well as my background in art, is what led me into hand-drawing each label as a piece of art. Each candle is a canvas that you display in your home that not only looks beautiful, but touches on life's memories.
