We began with custom making our candles and have now evolved to make candles, bleached tees, and more. Each and every item in our store is made by Christina and her family. All candles are 100% soy wax & all tees are hand bleached - patterns will vary! All shirts are pressed with the design you choose after you order - making each one specifically for your store and unique! We are women-owned & family-run! Please know we do our very best to always have the exact color that is pictured for each design available, but sometimes our suppliers are completely out so we are forced to switch the color of your shirts. We will ALWAYS reach out to confirm the change with you before we accept your order - please be watching your emails. We will always have our adorable designs - but there are times that we have to switch the base tee color to grey, green, or navy(all tees are always bleached if pictured bleached and the saying or design remains the exact same.)

(imagine t-shirts in closets, spilling onto all surfaces of our guests rooms, maybe even in the shower stall a time or two). We had t-shirts, designs and big dreams. We have now converted our barn into our office, screen printing business, and warehouse. We are a girl driven company who gives God the glory in all we do. From our adult and kid shirt line, we have expanded into Pure Milk goat lotion, tea towels, and pillow covers. What does the future hold for August Bleu? Hi, I'm Jane... I gained a love from clothes through my Mom who has always had the most amazing style. I gained the love of laughter through my Dad who always had the greatest sense of humour. I gained the love of inspiring people by going through infertility and realizing we all need to remind ourselves to be kind to ourselves and do good. Once I accepted my path was not to be a Mom I found myself waffling with time on my hands; finally I bought a home and had this amazing space and started making myself my own custom clothing that I could no longer easily have shipped to me due to the Covid pandemic. Soon people asked me for their own custom items and thus Not So Plain Jane Design Co. was born to fill my days with joy. I hope you love shopping with us!

Sandy Martin is the founder and president of Green 3. Sandy grew up in the rural Midwest, dreaming of brighter lights and bigger cities. After graduating from high school, Sandy left small town life behind and began an education and career that would take her to Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Her expertise in product development was eclipsed only by her love of family. Still shy of the age of 40, and at the height of her corporate career, Sandy decided to “retire” and dedicate herself to being the best mom she could be. In between soccer games, parent-teacher conferences, and volunteer work, Sandy kept one eye on the ever-changing feminine apparel marketplace. Personally frustrated by designers who lacked imagination, retailers who didn’t understand fit, and manufacturers who valued a nickel more than the environment and communities they operated in, Sandy decided to re-enter the game with a women’s company of her own. Green 3 is built on a personal philosophy of honesty, environmental awareness, love of family, and a sense of childlike wonder that no one should ever outgrow.
