TACKLING DENTAL PROBLEMS AT THE ROOT In order to develop supportive care for gum problems such as periodontal disease, dentist Dr. Ismail Özkanli, who has run his own practice in Berlin since 2002, has conducted intensive research. Together with a pharmacist, he developed the formula for a gum care gel whose most important ingredient is black cumin oil. He has been using this gum care gel in his practice since 2005. Applications on approximately 9,000 patients encouraged Dr. Özkanli to bring a gum care gel to the large drugstore market that successfully supports individual oral hygiene. Since 2014, Dr. Özkanli has been distributing a pre-product of the periodont gum care gel on a small scale. Pharmacies and online pharmacies, pharmacy wholesalers and private customers were already among the customers back then. However, it was only with the successful participation in the TV program “Die Höhle der Löwen” in 2017 and the subsequent new market appearance that the periodont gum care gel was able to reach a really large customer base with its quality convince. Since then, over 3 million users have tried the product and found a reliable solution for dental care problems.
