About the Prickly Factory At the Factory, we establish our apiaries in locations with sufficient biodiversity so that our bees and other pollinators have enough food available. We harvest only the strict minimum to avoid endangering our colonies with early famine. Our honeys are 100% French, unheated, unmixed, and cold-extracted. We jar the honeys directly after extraction (or a few days later) to retain all the properties of the honey. As with wines, beekeepers have the option to blend honeys to obtain a "standardized taste" honey. At the Prickly Factory, we have decided not to blend the honeys to let you discover an acacia or linden honey that varies depending on its place of production.
