Our family has always loved harem pants. I have worn them for more years than I care to mention: for yoga, travelling, through pregnancy and just hanging around at home. I only wish I’d discovered earlier that they also make super-comfy pyjama bottoms! We also adore elephants. For the children, it started in childhood, when they were lucky enough to have their first encounter with these huge, wise animals on our youngest daughter’s first birthday. On a 2018 trip to Sri Lanka, we stocked up on some stunning elephant-print harem pants from local markets. The colours were so vibrant, we could have bought the shop. As we were paying three elephants sauntered past the market shop . Was it a sign? I don't know about that, but it was enough to give me an idea: we could ethically produce harem trousers, sell them back in the UK, the EU and USA & give something back to help support efforts to conserve and safeguard these local elephants (after all elephants are all over so many harem pant designs!). Our search for a fair trade, ethically minded factory, with the range and vision to support our plans to create the most beautiful and colourful range of high-quality, fairly priced harem pants and trousers, took us to Thailand. Each month we donate to the Born Free Foundation specifically support the elephant research in the Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Our ladies harem range has now expanded to include kids & men's harems, skirts, dresses, bags, sarongs and kimonos.
