The devoré designs are inspired by peaceful scenes found in nature. She dyes and colors the fabric with permanent dyes that are washable. We work very closely with ethical fabric suppliers within the local community, and continually endeavours to use safe dyes and minimise waste in the dying process, as well as reduce our carbon footprint within manufacturing and distribution. The brand was founded by Teni Majekodunmi in 2012, to raise the bar for African products internationally, with a clear focus on developing the craft industry in Nigeria, and empowering women whilst doing so. Our artisans are the heart of Eclectic Chique, as well as a strict minimum wage policy, we have strategically located our manufacturing headquarters to be within a walking distance for many of our artisans, minimising staff expenses and also helping to reduce carbon emissions from transport. We particularly love to source from female owned suppliers, and pride ourselves on 95% of raw materials being from the local area, helping to boost our economy and continue to support the community through the creation of beautiful products that celebrate our heritage. Bronte Moon is an importer and distributor of British Wool products manufactured in a 182 year old mill in the Yorkshire Dales in England. On a visit to the UK in 2014 we visited a local store and found some beautiful throws that we wanted for our house in America. We decided that we couldn't bring them back in our suitcases as we were already overweight so we phoned the mill and asked where we could buy them in the US. We were told that unfortunately the mill had very few customers in America so we decided that we should import and sell them ourselves. Since then our business has grown rapidly and we now supply many stores across North America and Canada, our direct on line retail business has grown substantially and continues to grow year on year. The quality of the products is second to none and we know from the feedback that we have received that our customers love the Design, Quality and Heritage of the products as much as we do.

Our mission is simple: create a collection of USA-made bandanas in cool patterns, soft yet strong enough for city strolls, kitchen hustles, camping trips and more. After satisfying many happy customers with our Etsy shop Maryink, we created Abracadana in 2019 as our new brand focusing on bandanas. Our classic bandanas are hand screen printed by us onto 100% cotton, tightly woven quilting fabric. Like an old fashioned bandana, these are discharge printed, meaning the ink “discharges” the fabric’s dye, leaving a super soft print that's visible on the back.
