We will provide the spices, the tea, the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, and you provide the water and whiskey (also delicious with rum, brandy, or booze free). Josh and Isabel met while working at a Peruvian restaurant in Portland. Josh introduced Isabel to all of his favorite trails and she quickly became an outdoor enthusiast too. Trail Toddy is inspired by every adventure they have had in the beautiful state of Oregon.

Our family is certain you will find comfort in every heated or iced cup of Hot Ruby, time and time again. Ruby was born in Mabelle, Texas. In 1950, she and her husband Roy established their home on a South Plains Texas farm. Like most farm wives, her days were full, providing a good home for her husband who worked long hours farming cotton and their children. This included much cooking, and Ruby raised three daughters and a son on good home cooking with recipes shared between other farm wives and relatives. A favorite, considered a family tradition, was the cranberry cider Ruby made from fresh cranberries, pineapple, citrus and cinnamon and cloves. Ruby loved God, family, friends and gatherings including each of those! When entering her home, you could smell the cranberry cider simmering on the stove and feel the love she had for all who entered. When Ruby began making cranberry cider for her family years ago, she didn’t know the cranberries she cooked and the love she added would be enjoyed by so many people for years to come.

After living on more than four continents with humanitarian aid agencies, our founder - Steve - decided to bring distinctive spices and flavors from around the world to all-natural cocktail mixes. The results are delicious and sophisticated-but-fun. We use high-quality, all-natural ingredients to make concentrated drink mixes that will go a long distance for your customers. Unlike most drink mixes which make only two or three cocktails, our bottles make on average 10 to 12 cocktails, glasses of sangria, mugs of mulled wine, or hot toddies - leaving your customers satisfied and thirsty for more. Cheeky is a line of non-alcoholic, premium syrups and juices for the home and bar. Our products are shelf-stable for up to two years. We never add artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. OUR STORY In 2015 our founder and beverage industry veteran, April Wachtel, was teaching cocktail classes at Astor Center in New York City and working as a brand ambassador for Bacardi. April realized her students wanted to make bar-quality cocktails at home but couldn't access the essential ingredients behind bars, like 100% citrus juices (not from concentrate and without preservatives) and bar syrups like simple syrup and ginger syrup. Craft cocktail bartenders made all their ingredients from scratch, and no brand sold shelf-stable versions made with real bar recipes. ~ However, home consumers weren't the only ones struggling with this problem. Bar programs struggled with consistency, labor, cost, speed of service, and more. ~ April decided someone should make a product that helped solve this problem and she launched Cheeky into the first wave of COVID in 2020. ~ Cheeky is currently served in bar programs at four-star hotels, stadiums, and resorts, ships nationally within the US and Canada, and is sold in boutiques, gourmet grocers, and liquor stores in 44 states, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, and Australia. ~ Cheeky has been recognized in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other publications.
