About Keller's Bee Happy Honey
Our family had been “hobby beekeeping” in the Francis, Saskatchewan area for over 20 years. The old gentleman who sold us our first hive told Gary: “Once you get stung by a bee you become addicted to beekeeping forever.” That proved to be true for us. Over the years we have come to discover that the honeybee is a true marvel of nature. In 2016 we partnered with our oldest son and decided to take the plunge and grow the operation and make beekeeping a full-time business. We went from a four frame extractor in our little “honey shack” to a sixty frame extractor in our new Canadian Food Inspection Agency licensed “honey house.” We are proud to produce pure, unpasteurized local honey and other “from the hive products”. - Gary, Jacqueline and Drew Keller

Great news: We are now accepting new customers!! We'll never forget the first taste of honey from our own hive. It was June, and we lived on the coast of North Carolina. A seasoned beekeeper, Mr. Smith, had shown us the ins and outs of keeping bees, and he was there for the first taste. He dipped his calloused finger in the comb, brought it to his mouth, then smacked his lips a little. “Ain’t nothin’ but hedge honey,” he said. Not sure whether to be offended or not, we tasted it too. It was good. We felt lucky. Turns out, what Mr. Smith meant was the honey wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t an exotic, single-source honey, such as the popular orange blossom, tupelo or sourwood honeys. It was honey made by bees foraging through suburbia and feasting on things like hollies and red tips, which both produce copious amounts of nectar. Add to that the nectar from a neighbor’s herb gardens, and it was delicious. After selling our honey at farmers markets for several years, in NC and now near Nashville, TN, we like to think the “hedge honey” was the inspiration for what we still do. Our honey might be a little “fancy” now since we’re obsessed with packaging, but we still have our initial fascination with bees and a commitment to quality and taste. Our honey is raw, unpasteurized and just like the bees made it. In fact, since honeybees fly up to three miles from their hives to forage, it might have a little bit of “hedge” in it. But only if you’re lucky.
Welcome to our family here at Huckle Bee Farms. My name is Jim, founder, owner, keeper of the bees. My love and fascination of Honeybees started at an early age, as I remember one Christmas Santa brought me a microscope with slides of different bee parts. I spent hours staring at them, pretending I was a mad Scientist. Later in my youth, my neighboring farm raised bees and I was always ready to lend a helping hand. Many years have passed, but in 2012 we started Huckle Bee Farms. My passion is bees but my true love is sharing their world with those who ask. We at Huckle Bee Farms, have taken raw Honey to a whole new level by infusing it with different fruits and vegetables to add nature organic flavors to our Honey. Used straight from the bottle on toast or bagels, as a complement to any recipe, or in place of sugar or other sweetener to add organic natural flavors. Our mission is to “give your taste buds a treat” and to expand your knowledge of an age old condiment.
Zach & Zoe Sweet Bee Farm is a family-owned apiary in Central New Jersey named after their children. The Johnson family started beekeeping five years ago in an effort to alleviate their son Zach’s seasonal allergies by incorporating the raw honey from their hives in his diet through a process called immunotherapy. Their goal is to build community through their brand and to raise awareness about the importance of raw honey and beekeeping.

It's a rare, treasured thing when we find ourselves awakening from a dream that quite literally changes the course of our lives. Yet, that's exactly what happened one Spring morning in 2011 when the idea for Bumbleberry Farms came into focus for our beekeeping founder, Karen Mosholder - Create quality, artisanal goods that are as appealing to the eye as they are to the palate. The company was born of her hives and her country kitchen, where she first concocted the company’s award-winning honey cream spreads—inspired by a family recipe—just 18 jars at a time. Each time the kettles are cooking our delectable spreads—we still make them in small batches using whole ingredients and absolutely no preservatives—we’re reminded of stirring homemade caramels with grandmother’s wooden spoon, warming our hands on frosty days with a mug of rich hot cocoa, or waiting impatiently for the cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. In 2023, the company legacy continues with the next generation, as Jon Mosholder takes the helm at Bumbleberry Farms, guiding the business into its next phase of growth and moving it from its country setting in rural Pennsylvania to a new urban home in Pittsburgh, where plans include the addition of a rooftop apiary in the city! Jon is a Deaf entrepreneur who has proudly taken to heart the Bumbleberry Farms mission to Spread a Little Sweetness, by empowering Deaf individuals through the company’s hiring and sourcing practices.
Mike’s Hot Honey is America’s leading brand of hot honey. Founded in 2010 by Mike Kurtz, the brand was born from a desire to create and share the highest quality honey infused with chili peppers. Mike began drizzling his signature hot honey on pizzas at the Brooklyn pizzeria where he worked, and customers started to ask if they could buy bottles to take home. Mike’s Hot Honey became a word-of-mouth sensation, sparking the creation of a new category of honey. Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, Mike’s Hot Honey can now be found on restaurant menus and retail shelves across the US.
We found beekeeping in a wildly creative, out-of-the-box, Christmas gift kind of way and Cloister Honey was born. We’re dedicated to preserving the incredible flavor and healthful benefits of natural honey. Why do we care so much? The obvious reason is taste. Nature has done her job so well, we want to preserve the goodness. Our philosophy goes beyond honey. We believe that being connected to nature keeps life grounded and helps us develop a greater ability to find joy in simple pleasures.
The Bee Box is dedicated to providing pure, natural, local products to our customers. With over 99 years of beekeeping experience, we've always put the health of our honey bees first in order to produce the highest quality honey, pollen, and products from the hive. Our honey and pollen is exclusively produced by the our family, who began beekeeping four generations ago with only 5 hives; today we have over 6,000 hives strong and continue to produce the highest quality honey and products from the hive. The products we sell are hand-made, small batch, and 100% natural. We never change the natural components of the materials we harvest from the beehives. Our brick-and-mortar shop, located in sunny Sacramento, CA, is where we process and bottle all of our honey varieties, as well as clean and pour all of our beeswax creations. Our goal is to create all-natural products that your clients will love and enjoy bringing home at the end of the day.

Wehrloom Honey, believe it or not, started as a thoughtful Christmas gift in 2010. The following spring two hives of honeybees arrived and started working, not only on the local flowers, but on us. We quickly came to realize the importance and potential of these wonderful creatures and Wehrloom Honey was born. From two hives to hundreds, over the past nine years Wehrloom has grown from a small home spun business into a retail store and manufacturing facility where we harvest and package honey, make a full line of skin care products, and beeswax candles.

Beekeeping has been a part of our family since the 1800’s, when our family was hobbyist beekeepers. Our honey producing business was established in the early 1950’s in Dallas, Pa by my grandfather William Perry Sr. As the years went past, more and more hives were being kept due to the demand for American honey and we have eventually buzzed our way to thousands of hives. I eventually started The Beekeeper's Daughter in 2012 to expand our own private label along with many other products from the hive, such as honey soda and creamy honey. What started out as a small business venture, has grown to become our family life.
Savannah Bee Company is a business inspired by the honorable honeybee. The company consists of a relatively small group of hard-working individuals fighting for a world where everyone wins, just like a beehive. In 2002, Ted Dennard founded Savannah Bee Company with the mission to sell the best honey and beehive products while educating others about the fascinating world of honeybees. The company continues to operate by this mission, producing the world's finest specialty honey, beehive products, and body care made with ingredients from the hive. Savannah Bee Company’s dedication to its mission is most visible through the cofounding of the Bee Cause Project, a not-for-profit that aims to educate the youth about the important role bees play in our ecosystem. Since its founding in 2002, Savannah Bee Company has expanded to 14 retail locations across the southeastern part of the United States and beyond.
