THE STORY OF MAKAI BEGINS IN THE 70'S IN SOUTHERN ITALY. Makai is a young brand of a historical family owned knitwear factory based in the south of Italy with the goal of being impeccable in quality. Knitwear has always been our passion generation after generation. The first customers of the knitwear factory were mainly family members, friends and professionals from the town who were looking for a high-quality, km0 product. Month after month, thanks to the word of mouth, the small knitwear factory began to expand the trade towards the city center of Naples and the Amalfi coast. Hence the name “Makai” which in the Hawaiian language means “towards the sea”. Makai draws inspiration from nature, the mountains and everything that surrounds the knitwear factory with the aim of bringing the values of tradition towards infinite horizons such as those of the sea. Today it is managed by the family's third generation, who with pride, contemporary spirit and renewed enthusiasm carry on the development of the MAKAI collection.

The brand dates back to 2005, when the first men's underwear store opened in Spain and is currently expanding to the women's market. He has more than 15 years of experience in the sector. From 2018 to the present, the company has taken a turning point in quality thanks to several lines of work and innovated with a wide range of products under the “DOUBLE M” brand, its own designers and creative direction have made this possible. The name of the brand “DOUBLE M” reminds us of the double appearance that we all exhibit throughout the day, wearing the same underwear: The physique in public but the more intimate and suggestive side in private. In this way, we offer each of our select clients, impeccable and comfortable underwear for them, both a range of sensual lingerie and bright colors for them, which makes each garment a product you wear and can be used both for any occasion, be it an event or for everyday life. All garments provide comfort, have no seams and have high hygiene standards, thanks to an exclusive system for preventing fungi and other infections. In addition to design, we care about hygiene and well-being for the body.

JAQK is the story of a band of 6 friends from Lille! Players, they decided to create their ready-to-wear brand for men in 2010. Their main objective since the beginning of the adventure: To share precious moments with friends, and to create a universe of French elegance, sincere relaxation & authenticity. Thus, since 2010, the “Band of Players”, through essential pieces of the men's wardrobe, translates a contemporary vision thanks to its choice of materials, colors, twisted with selfish details of embroidery, singular messages, refined interiors. Jaqk produces in small quantities and close to 85% import (including 60% in Portugal, 10% in France, then Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey...) We produce in nearby countries to limit transport and therefore the carbon impact and also to shorten production times and thus be as close as possible to your needs. Our workshops are certified and ensure respect for their employees. Quality at Jaqk is non-negotiable, on products as in human relations. We work with good people, enthusiasts and craftsmen in workshops on a human scale.
