Hi! I'm Trista, the owner and candle maker behind Clever Cow Candle Co. I started making candles in 2021 because I was searching for clean-burning candles for my own home. All our candles are hand poured using 100% soy wax, cotton wicks and clean fragrances so there’s no chemicals, toxins or harmful substances released from our candles. I love farmhouse décor and had the idea to pour our candles into enamel campfire mugs with fun designs on them. I personally create all the clever, inspiring and sometimes sarcastic designs featured on our candles. We sublimate the designs onto the mugs so they are permanent and won’t wash, rub or peel off. And did I mention the mugs are even reusable? Once the candle is done burning, the mug can be cleaned out and used to enjoy a favorite beverage! We also offer a smaller version of our candles in a 4oz black tin with the same fun designs applied with a waterproof vinyl label. The design appears on the lid and around the front body of the tin. I love creating the different designs featured on our candles and especially enjoy creating custom designs. This is what makes our candles unique and highly giftable for many different occasions.
