Making a change through beautiful baby essentials Our family wanted to give back. We also wanted beautiful baby items that actually represented our personal style. Mini Wander was born as an opportunity to do both! “Mini Wander was born as a way to give back: we’re deeply blessed and we feel a call to make a difference in the world” As a family, we recognize we’ve been incredibly blessed: being first-generation immigrants and living in the US, we knew we had to give back and make a positive impact in other people’s lives, especially children! But at the time and although we were living a good life, there wasn’t a lot of wiggle room: living paycheck to paycheck, it was sometimes impossible to set money aside for charity. So, while browsing through the baby aisle in preparation for our new little one, we had an idea. First, we realized that even though baby items come in plenty of different shapes and colors, most of them clashed with our personal sense of style. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with classic baby patterns, but they didn’t inspire us. Pairing our different talents, we knew we could make a difference! Kristina’s creative flair was the perfect balance to Roman’s ability to handle the “business side of things”. She started printing onesies on the floor of her guest bedroom and sharing them online. What set the brand apart from the start was the messages - all of the graphics had a universal theme of promoting kindness and acceptance, resonating with parents and kids alike. Charlie Lou Baby started like a lot of baby boutiques do, with a mom. The only difference is that I was a mom to a sweet baby with a lot of difficulties. Charlie's constant severe reflux, torticollis and extreme colic led me to searching out brands that offered affordable bamboo apparel and soft muslin nursery linens. I never quite found what I was looking for. Even though I found some brands that offered these types of products, they never seemed quite affordable enough or with the prints that I imagined. So I stopped searching, stopped wishing, and started doing. I created my own brand with my own signature prints on the fabrics I knew would make my own baby more comfortable and joyful. I'm constantly overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to share what seemed to be just for Charlie, with so many other moms and babies who not-so-coincidentally seemed to be looking for the same thing.

As a mom, I am always looking for the best for my kids. This includes finding the best items for them that are comfortable, practical, and timeless. Dreamy Skies Baby was created with these three needs in mind. We are a Southern California based veteran and mom owned small business. We started off as a bamboo viscose pajama company because bamboo is a natural textile created from the fibers of bamboo grass. Bamboo fibers are not chemically treated, which allows the fibers to remain incredibly soft. This makes it ideal for all babies - even those with sensitive skin and eczema. Bamboo viscose is unique to other textiles. Bamboo viscose is antimicrobial, ant-bacterial and anti-fungal thanks to its naturally occuring bio-agent called Bamboo Kun. No other fabric has the natural ability to resist bacteria and odor! Bamboo viscose is seasonless due to its thermoregulation properties. Bamboo is 40% more absorbent than cotton, which keeps baby’s skin cooler and dryer for longer periods of time. In other words, your baby will be warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat. These are the reasons why I choose bamboo for my kids and the reasons why we started Dreamy Skies Baby in 2022! In 2024 we introduced 100% cotton blankets and crib sheets. 100% cotton has exceptional breathability, natural ability to absorb moisture, softness on the skin, hypoallergenic properties, and is so durable.
