Both of them developed Maike & Dieter Harm's love for animals in early childhood and continued into adulthood. They set themselves the task of their special passion for dogs and the preservation of the Golden Retriever breed. Wanting to be able to spend as much lifetime as possible with your four-legged friends, you dealt a lot with their diet and began to be enthusiastic about dog food from Scandinavia in 1992. It was initially imported for their own dog care until friends and acquaintances became aware of the high-quality food, and Dieter & Maike Harms decided to found one of the first mail-order companies in Germany. The veterinary student and the businesswoman, trainer and author of books breed golden retrievers, act as a character and performance judge, and in other volunteer functions around dogs. When it comes to nutrition and handling animals, and especially dogs, the quality of the raw materials, and therefore also of the end product, has always been the top priority. The couple firmly believe that the basis of a long and healthy dog or animal life is always a species-appropriate and healthy diet.
