About Shelights

Hello there, my name is Mesi, I am the owner and creator behind Shelights. I have been making candles for 5 years (as a business), starting with beeswax candles, then slowly expending to scented ones. My father is a beekeeper in Hungary, so I have been surrounded by beeswax ever since I was a child. I made my first rolled beeswax candles when I was 5. As I got older, I thought - why not take it to the next level, and I started experimenting with different types of pillar candles, with my own paintings on them. Then the process of evolving and trying new things just never stopped. My obsession with scents has grown and grown - I have tried and tested 70+ different scented oils to choose my favourites. I find it very interesting, how each person has different preferences. I have recently ventured into skincare too: I have dry skin and I am very prone to eczema. So having control over what goes into my products is very important for me! My company is kind to: - your health - the environment. <3
