About Sparks House Co.

Hi, I’m Amy! I'm the owner of Sparks House Co.— a shop with a focus on handmade home decor featuring the cities we love. This all started because I’m a sentimental, nostalgic person with a handful of cities that I’m obsessed with. I wanted to have these special places represented in my home, in a cute, decorative way. I first started designing watercolor maps and drawings of my hometown purely for my own home, and then I quickly realized after selling some of my designs locally that I’m not alone in my affection for places. We all have cities and towns that mean a lot to us. So I set out to create a collection of city art that brightens our spaces and adds joy and a personal touch to our homes. I design, draw and hand make everything you see in my shop. It’s not uncommon for me to print, cut, mask, drill, knot, tie and press all in a single day. I love being a maker and I wouldn't want it any other way! Want art made for a city you don’t see listed? Our custom “City Maps” and “Coordinates Drawings” are available to order year-round. We also open up custom orders in ALL 5 of our design styles on Faire a few times a year (and during this time, custom order city stickers are available to order too).
