About Studio Mariah

Studio Mariah is founded by the Dutch/Moluccan artist Mariah Birsak. Born in 1994, she expresses the contrasts and complexity of life through her unique and colorful style. Her creations often feature backdrops that combine wilderness with sober interiors. Mariah cleverly uses the leopard as her alter ego and recurring model, symbolizing the delicate balance between opposing forces and emotions. Acrylic is the primary medium Mariah utilizes to demonstrate her versatility and brilliance on canvas. Since then she also explores the world of digital illustration to produce prints that are now available on Studio Mariah. Through her work, Mariah encourages us to remain open to the wonders of the world. Since 2021, Mariah's success has been steadily growing, with a series of exhibitions held in Europe, Australia, and South Korea.
