We are Dustin and Janneke van de Sande from the Netherlands. We’re parents to 3 children: Jasmijn, Sebas and Morris. We started this potty training programme because we noticed that potty training was something that many people around us struggled with. When is the right time to start? How do you keep going? What should you do when accidents occur? What do you need? We’ve asked ourselves these questions. We’ve felt insecure, but we started reading about potty training and we successfully trained our kids when they were two-and-a-half years old. It’s so extraordinary to see your child without a nappy at age two. Our friends and family started asking questions and we were able to share our experiences and our method. Soon we learned that our method worked for other children too. We started to develop this potty training programme so we could help as many parents as possible. No child is the same, that’s why we think it’s important to be able to ask questions online and/or share your experiences. In our private community we will support you in every possible way during potty training. Our potty training tips have been tested by experts and used by over 20,000 parents already!

SoapSox® are the next generation of washcloths for kids. A collection of adorable, soft, and colorful characters that make bathing fun for kids, and easier for parents. SoapSox were created by our founder and CEO as he worked at a group home for children. A 5 year old boy refused to bath because he couldn't take his favorite stuffed animal to bathe. After a few modifications to a another stuffed animal, the boys took a bath without issue. The makeshift SoapSox was a staple technique to motivate children to bathe without issue. What makes SoapSox® so amazing is that kids can "feed" their favorite SoapSox liquid or bar soap. Soap is placed into the mouth of most SoapSox and rests in the characters belly. Made using a soft terry cloth exterior and an anti-microbial sponge interior, SoapSox® when filled with soap and water can be worked into a lather using the finger pockets for a fun bath time experience. Simply add soap, water, and scrub! SoapSox®, Who knew getting clean could be so fun!

Hand Made Bath Toys since 1988 from South Africa. Cape Town, early ’80s, a friend of the founders, Chris & Sharon, brought Jumping Beans home to South Africa after an overseas holiday. Chris, who was embarking on a career in the corporate world, and Sharon, who was a junior primary school teacher, immediately related to these capsules with ball bearings, which tumble on a sloped surface. They characterized each Bean by drawing faces on them making them cute and friendly – king bean, cook bean, surfer bean, doctor bean, etc. They marketed these "Jolly Jumping Beans" at outdoor and craft markets. Six months later Chris & Sharon got exposed to “Grow Capsules” from the USA and so introduced the concept of placing foam shapes inside capsules. The name “Magical Beans” was coined and the product was launched as a bath toy for children. A highlight that really helped to get The Bean People going in those early market, direct sales days, was when they received, out of the blue, an envelope in their letterbox at home in Cape Town, bearing Canadian stamps. The envelope contained a handwritten letter from a 5-year-old in Canada, who wrote that his father had been in South Africa and had bought the Magical Beans as a gift for him. He enclosed $5 and asked if we could post some more to him because he had had such fun in his bath with them. This brought the realization that hey! there is a larger market for the products than just local craft markets. Thank YOU for YOU 🙏
