Eco Inner Living is the brand that creates sustainable and eco-friendly interior design. All our products are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, but look and feel like wool products. My inspiration for the business idea was the garbage in our environment. During my maternity leave, I noticed the amount of rubbish lying around, especially when traveling and visiting family in South Africa. This sparked interest and I started thinking about how we could find alternative ways to clean up. I soon discovered the many ways plastic bottle waste can be recycled and reused. I decided to combine this with my hobby and passion for interior design and explored how these bottles could be recycled into strong yarns which are then woven creating beautiful home accessories. Besides our planet, good quality, fair trade and giving back are other important values for us as a company. We work with "One Tree Planted", so that a tree is planted for every product sold. Not only do we remove waste, we also give something back to the planet. This is important for us to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet. It also comes full circle for us as a company: we removed the plastic waste, recycled, created sustainable products and then gave something back to the environment.
