Eftihia and Chris have a deep admiration for Greece. Eftihia’s family share their home island of Kos with Greek physician and the father of medicine, Hippocrates, whose philosophy was "let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food". This ultimately became the foundation for the beliefs and values of Arma. Eftihia's Greek roots gave her a strong understanding of how to use natural resources to heal the body. Chris quickly grew to appreciate this wealth of knowledge which led to the couple gifting Greek thyme honey to their wedding guests when they tied the knot in 2015. They take inspiration from Greece as a unified place and believe in the culture centered around family, food, and nature. Eftihia’s name means happiness in Greek which is a feeling they want to emulate through Arma.
