My Little Belleville is a slow fashion brand that focuses on creating beautifully illustrated small batch and ethically made products. My Little Belleville was founded by illustrator Michelle Christensen. Michelle lived in Paris, France for a season and was inspired by the multi-cultural arrondissement of Belleville. She returned back to the USA and began her home decor line, which was soon carried by Anthropologie and Terrain, and has been featured in magazines like Glamour, Country Living, Martha Stewart Living, and Frankie Magazine. My Little Belleville is a woman-owned small business. We produce small batch clothing and accessories, using sustainable materials as often as we can. We work with factories abroad that focus on using locally sourced materials as well as chemical-free inks. We also regularly donate to charities with specific product launches.

During his years as a gardener, our founder Jeremy's skin was always getting irritated either from scratches from prickly plants, burns from the sun, or rashes from a reaction. To prevent this as most do, he wore a long sleeved shirt or hoodie but found that not only were they too baggy and in the way, but they were also too hot during the hot days in the garden or greenhouse. That's when he decided to make his own solution and developed the first farm protection sleeves.
