In 1994 I purchased a soap making book and dove in. I was running an afterschool program for the Y so I had some time on my hands. There were a few failures at first, but soon I got really good at making soap and it felt amazing on my skin! But soap was quickly taking over our home so in 1995 I started selling it to parents. When they kept coming back for more I knew I was on to something. I loved my job but making soap was MUCH quieter! So I quit the Y to pursue soap making full time and the rest is history. Now 3 other family members & 3 friends have joined me. What a fantastic team! Our pure and natural products feature wild, native North American plants. 100% of our base oils are certified organic and we only use sustainable palm oil that doesn't harm the rainforest. Based in Hudson Valley, New York, Regina's Essentials, LLC specializes in small-batch, aromatherapy handmade soaps and candles. All products are created with care using certified organic essential oils. The ingredients in our soaps rang from all-natural raw shea butter to certified organic oils. ALL of the ingredients in our candles from the wax to the oils are certified organic. We do not use any mica coloring, we focus on botanical coloring. The average time for a new order is 30 days, this is a freshly batch of handmade soap that we will process the initial day of order. Our farm history began with horses. In fact, the dairy goats were bought initially to support the foals in case a mare had inadequate milk. We milked lots of milk from our two first goats. We froze the milk in case any baby animal in our neighborhood needed it, no one needed it. So then the problem become, what to do with the milk? I got my nerve up and tried my first batch of soap. When I felt how great my skin felt after the first shower I was hooked.
