Founded in the Kootenays in 2020, RURAL Candles are handcrafted using non-toxic and cruelty-free ingredients for your well-being and the health of our planet. At RURAL, we believe that slow living is the way to find connection and contentment. By slowing down, we can be in the present moment, choose to live with intent, and consciously create a lifestyle that aligns with what matters most, for the benefit of our well-being, those around us, and that of the planet. Locally made and consciously handcrafted are important values at RURAL that guide our design, sourcing and production decisions. We create beautifully simple candles, delicately scented, and decorated with a touch of whimsy. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches for quality, using only pure, plant-based waxes and the finest blends of premium-grade fragrances and essential oils for a long-lasting, clean-burning experience. A portion of the proceeds from every RURAL Candle sold is donated to programs that help support and raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.
