About Bie

Hi! My name is Melissa, and I am the owner of Bie. Bie is a clean beauty brand created with the health-conscious, busy mama in mind. Each product is formulated with ingredients grown in nature and preservatives recognized as clean worldwide. I grew up with a mom who taught me to take care of my skin from an early age. We washed our face every night, and we never went to bed with makeup on our skin. At that time we didn’t know as much as we do now about skincare. Oil was a culprit for acne, we didn’t scrutinize ingredient lists and easy access drugstore products were a staple. We’ve learned so much! My own mama bear kicked in when I had my first kiddo. I was THAT parent, making my own baby food and doing my best to carefully consider what we put on and in his body. Since then, I’ve grown a passion for learning about ingredients–in food and body care products–that are harmful to us and our environment. It’s a journey to eliminate all of the ingredients I find unacceptable for our family. And since perfection is unattainable, we focus on progress. Small, imperfect action is better than none. Bie, to me, is an opportunity to support my customers in their own journey to taking better care of themselves and their families. And if they're mamas like me, it’s also to make skincare easy.
