I’m Kyle, a South African living in The Netherlands. I started making biltong in my apartment in Amsterdam because I could not find anyone selling quality biltong in The Netherlands. Hobby turned habit and soon I was making biltong for more than my personal consumption. That's when the penny dropped, Europe needs a source of healthy dried meat snacks. I met Wesley (my business partner), a true 'Amsterdamer' who was already making high quality barbecue-style meat products in a commercial environment. We connected off-the-bat, shook hands blindly and decided to start producing biltong together. It was picturesque. Thanks Wes. The focus was to build Europe's best e-commerce biltong brand.
