Inspired by Country Aboriginal descendants of the Bardi people from the north of Broome, Sabrina and her daughter Lily are the founders of Olive & Bean and is 100% Aboriginal-owned small business. What started out as a creative healing outlet, has now blossomed into a small family business making beautiful biodegradable natural coconut and soy wax candles. We as a family are conscious of the impact we place on Country and have chosen to have a focus around caring for Country. As long as we care for Country, Country in return will care for us. The brand has a strong focus on caring for Country, sustainability and up-cycling. Olive & Bean candles are made from natural and renewable plant based coconut & soy wax, there is absolutely no palm oil, paraffin wax or petroleum additives added to this sustainable wax, keeping your home safe from harmful chemicals being breathed in. We use premium fragrance oils infused with essential oils, crackling eco-friendly wood wicks, recycled wine bottles and beautiful amber reusable glassware. All Olive & Bean candles are hand poured in small batches in our home studio on Whadjuk Noongar Country, Fremantle, Western Australia. Through the love of candles we hope to encourage and inspire others to be more conscious about the products we purchase and put in our home.
