About Filthy Fit

Filthy Fit is a health conscious brand that expresses our passion, happy eating and living. We gathered our skills together and created some pretty unusual, but delicate nut and seed butters. My husband and I always dreamed about having our own business one day. In the end of 2020 we finally had an idea that really made us excited and we started experimenting almost immediately. Our uniqueness especially are the savoury flavours that can be used in cooking - just imagine stuffed mushrooms with a garlic and cayenne spiced almond butter, or a ravioli with Italian herb flavoured peanut butter. Our assortment is refined sugar free, palm oil free, preservative free, and we only use natural ingredients in our products.

Oat Haus

Hi! I'm Ali, CEO & founder of Oat Haus. Oat Haus was born out of my eating disorder recovery. After studying nutrition at UC Berkeley, I developed an eating disorder from trying to eat perfectly clean all the time. In my eating disorder recovery journey, I started eating more intuitively and documenting my journey online (@alibonar). I realized my true passion for helping others feel less alone during their darkest moments. Another aspect of my recovery was reintroducing my fear foods: nut butters. As I added them back in, I realized my gut wasn't well-equipped to handle all the nuts, so I looked high and low to for a great tasting nut-free alternative, but couldn’t find one. It was then I decided to create my own, and Granola Butter was born. Oat Haus is more than just a food company; we're a community with a heart and soul, here to bring fun back into eating, regardless of dietary restrictions. Navigating all the health information out there is difficult -- food becomes stressful. At Oat Haus, our mission is two-fold: 1. Create better-tasting alternative products made from whole ingredients that can be enjoyed regardless of dietary restrictions. 2. Combat restrictive eating/diet culture & empower customers to nourish their bodies while living their best lives. Thanks so much for being here. Now, let's party! Soom Foods

We joke that Shelby had a business degree, Jackie married a tahini expert, and I needed a job upon graduation. And it’s basically true. When Shelby met Jackie’s boyfriend (now husband) Omri, and tried the tahini (a paste made from roasted and pressed sesame seeds) he sold around Israel, she became obsessed with the creamy, nutty and delicious product that could be used to make hummus AND carrot cake. She couldn’t believe this was the “same” product as the bitter, grainy, and unappetizing tahini offered in American grocery stores. This discovery sparked all sorts of questions: “Why is this tahini so much better?” “Why isn’t tahini used more in America?” “What other brands exist?” When we realized that no brand spoke to the inspiring versatility of such a nutritious and delicious product, we asked ourselves, “Why don’t we bring good tahini to the United States?” So we did! Together we combined our skills and passions and created a business founded on a love for food, family, and community. In 2013, Soom Foods, a certified women-owned, Philadelphia-based company, was born, and we have been dedicated to introducing globally inspired pantry staples to the American market ever since. – Amy
