About PurseN (new)

Hardeep Melamed is the CEO and founder of PurseN, a brand celebrated for its stylish and functional travel accessories. Born into a Punjabi family, she moved to Canada as a refugee from Uganda, Africa, an experience that played a key role in shaping her resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. The journey began with an obsession for handbags & the challenge of organizing them. This passion led to the creation of PurseN's Littbag Handbag Organizer, featured on Oprah's Favorite Things List in 2018. The need for better organization solutions didn't stop there. After losing a valuable pair of earrings, she designed travel jewelry organizers. The Ultra Jewelry Case was chosen for the Oprah's Favorite Things List in 2021; and, in 2024 was again chosen for Oprah's List with the innovative LITTMINI Lighted Mirror Case. PurseN now offers innovative solutions for organizing makeup, toiletries, and travel essentials. Hardeep remains personally involved with her customers, ensuring the highest quality and satisfaction.

He Said, She Said

Toiling away at an office desk has a lot of drawbacks: cold, stale coffee from the communal pot; backaches and twitchy eyes from squinting so long at your computer. But! You might get a placard with your name on it—a little thing to plant among your standard-issue supplies as if to say, this grunt work may be chipping away at my vital life force and will to live, but I am a person, dammit, and this is my seat!

OllieBug Tot Shop

OllieBug Tot Shop is a Mama owned and operated business. Named after my two boys Oliver (Ollie) & big brother Cameron (Bug). I originally started making paci clips and other things as a hobby while I was pregnant with Ollie to help pass the time as I was unable to work. What started out as a hobby soon turned in to a full business! We have since expanded to offering a variety of products for our customers - including completely custom signs and decor, hand made - in house. Starting this business has been such a blessing for us! I have several autoimmune issues and soon after we found out that I was pregnant with Ollie, I had no choice but to quit my job, and stay at home because I just couldn't physically or mentally handle it at the time. I was working in a field that I loved and had been doing it for quite some time, but adding pregnancy on top of the other issues that I face each and every day - it was not the best choice to continue working traditionally. Running my own business offers my family and I the flexibility that we have always needed. I can stay at home with my children, make it to every school event for my oldest, and -most importantly, for my health- I can work at my own pace & take breaks when needed at any point in time. Having this kind of flexibility is something that I would never be able to get while working a traditional job. I am SO thankful to have the opportunity to be able to now run my own business!

The Joyful Bee Co

I'm Kayla, owner of The Joyful Bee Co. I started this business in 2019 as a way to express my creative side. As a homebody, I was eager to create my happy place at home and surround myself with family. The Joyful Bee Co. is a family owned and operated business, owned by myself and my husband, PJ. My younger brother, Troy, is one of our main craftsmen along with our family friend Colton. Early in 2021, my husband lost his job and we decided to dive into the business and begin offering our products wholesale. This has been such a rewarding experience for us and has allowed my husband more time with our two young children. We are homebodies at heart and love providing quality home decor products to allow others to create their happy at home. We are so excited to partner with you to offer our unique products in your store!

Handmade By Uruba

My journey with Macrame began at the age of 12 when my mom introduced me to this captivating art form. It all unfolded during a summer vacation, as she patiently imparted the skill of crafting exquisite pieces using intricate knotting techniques with simple cotton cords. However, as life tends to do, it led me down different paths, and Macrame became a distant memory over the years. Then, in the year 2020, when the world came to a standstill due to the pandemic, I found myself searching for a creative outlet to fill my time. That's when Macrame reemerged in my life, and this time, it was here to stay. With newfound enthusiasm, I set out to not only fashion beautiful home décor items with Macrame but also to infuse this art into everyday essentials like keychains and wristlets. I relish challenging myself by amalgamating diverse elements and textures, weaving colorful cords into unique patterns. One of my proudest achievements has been the development of my beloved ombre dip-dyeing technique, which injects a delightful twist into this marvelous craft. Through Macrame and the small business I've built around it, I wake up each day with the privilege of pursuing what I am truly passionate about.
